SwimGym closing EXTENDED up to May 20th
Yesterday, the government announced that the mandatory closing of sporting facilities will be further extended until May 20th. Obviously we are very disappointed but we trust that the measures taken will lead to a responsible reopening of SwimGym. At the same time, these measures are challenging and difficult for many, including SwimGym.
We offer the following compensation solutions to our members:
- Compensation scheme - your lost training sessions will be compensated as much as possible through extra credits, personal training or extension of the validity of your punchcard. See conditions.
- Alternative training - our Dryland Workouts on YouTube by our SwimGym coaches will continue daily at 10am LIVE or ON DEMAND via the SwimGym App (News). Or join our virtual bike rides on ZWIFT!
- Pause your membership - We offer to temporarily pause the direct debit of your membership during the period of the extended closing from May 1st to May 20th. Read further to learn more.
KEEP SUPPORTING US
We fully understand that not everybody is capable of supporting SwimGym during this challenging period. However, we do hope that you will not pause your membership and that you will continue to help us keep our head above water.
If you choose not to pause your membership, the direct debit will continue as normal. By doing so, you will contribute to help us maintain the swimming pool as well as keep the SwimGym team together. We are the only independent operating swimming pool and we need to keep the pool operational during the time of closure.
You can also support us by, for example, purchasing a personal training session which you can schedule as soon as we reopen. With the personal feedback from our coaches, you’ll be back in shape in no time. More info: www.swimgym.nl/en/personaltraining
PAUSE OPTION
Only on request we can pause the direct debit of your membership during the extended period of closing from May 1st to May 20th. During this pause you do not pay for your membership. To be considered for pausing your membership, you need to have an active membership and not have cancelled nor have any open payments.
REQUEST BEFORE APRIL 28th
In order to apply the necessary modifications to your direct debit in time, you need to request the pause of your membership before April 28th via our website.
After we have approved your request you will receive a confirmation. Requests after April 28th will not be accepted.
Unless communicated otherwise your direct debit will continue proportionally on May 20th. Read the conditions to pause your membership.
REOPENING OF SWIMGYM
At the moment, we are preparing to reopen SwimGym based on protocols and guidelines issued by the national swimming pool and sports associations and the Dutch government (RIVM). For the safety of you and our staff. We will inform you about these guidelines and measures via e-mail, SwimGym App (News section) and our frequently asked questions.
Stay safe, stay healthy.
