It's the moment we have been waiting for: SwimGym is scheduled to reopen Wednesday May 19th which means you can resume your swim training next week!
On Monday May 17th we expect the Government to confirm the reopening of swimming pools. It is then when we inform you by email that you can start booking your swim sessions again and how we resume our swimming program based on the government instructions and additional guidelines of the Swimming Pool Association.
We would like to thank you for your heartwarming support, understanding and patience during the months of closure. Thanks to your support we are able to open our doors so you can enjoy swimming at SwimGym again.
We can't wait to welcome you back in the pool. Due to strict government restrictions, social distancing instructions still apply when you visit SwimGym so read this newsletter carefully.
See you in the pool!
Team SwimGym
BOOKING STARTS MONDAY MAY 17th
------------------------------------------------------------
After the final confirmation of the Government on Monday May 17th we will inform you to start making your bookings and how we resume our swimming program at SwimGym.
Due to lots of swimming enthusiasm amongst members and despite the fact that there are fewer members at the moment, it might be challenging to book your favourite time slot at the moment we reopen.
In order to maximise training opportunities we have added extra training opportunities and expanded our opening times.
COMPENSATION SCHEME
------------------------------------------------------------
If you want to apply for the compensation you can do so before June 19th at the SwimGym reception:
* If you have a monthly- or year membership you can request your compensation at the reception desk.
* If you have a punchcard, personal training or a Try-Out purchase, the validity of your credits will automatically be extended.
Read about the compensation scheme per membership.
INSTRUCTIONS SWIMMING RESPONSIBLY
------------------------------------------------------------
Our social distancing instructions are mandatory for anyone who visits SwimGym. These instructions are for yours and everyone's safety. Keep 1.5 meters distance at all times. A reminder:
Arrival at reception
* Arrive 15 minutes before the start of your training session and wait for further instruction of our staff.
* Are you a bit early? Please wait outside.
* When you arrive within 10 minutes before the start of your training session, access will be denied due to oneway traffic on pool deck.
Changing rooms and showers
* Maximum of 4 persons at the same time in the locker room, including 1 waiting spot.
* Change quickly at the designated changing spots.
* Use of the showers is not allowed.
On pool deck
* Oneway traffic is applicable on pool deck: do not pass other swimmers but ask for assistance.
* Wait on the designated waiting spots on pool deck.
* You need to be on a pool deck waiting spot no later than 5 minutes prior to the start of your training session so exiting swimmers can leave the pool safely.
Laps & Personal Training
* Laps swimmers are allowed to exit the pool exactly 35 or 60 minutes after the start of the training session due to oneway traffic.
* In case you have personal training, please wait in the shower area for your coach.
Read all social distancing instructions on our website. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
